Calcined Bauxite

Calcined bauxite is an extremely hard aggregate and retains the sharp edges produced at the time of crushing; this property greatly enhances skid resistance, resulting in decreased braking distances.

Calcined Bauxite is used in combination with thermoplastic resins such as hydrocarbon or rosin ester resins (e.g. H-Rez 1102 or Nuroz RE100) or in two component reactive systems. For detailed information on resins, please click here
